Sunday brands bring 50% of Oyo's business: Ritesh Agarwal

SUNDAY in Dubai has arrived with the opening of SUNDAY Holiday International Hotel. The luxury brand of hotels was initially rolled out in May 2023 in India by the joint venture between the Softbank and Oravel Stays. Currently, there are three SUNDAY hotels in India with the target to grow to 25 by the end of March 2025. “Our statistics show an increasing need for high-end, experience-based accommodations. This strategic shift enables us to access the luxury market while staying true to our mission of providing value at every price point,” Puneet Yadav, Oravel’s UK business head, said.

Oravel Stays has also announced the opening of 25 new Sunday Hotels in India by March 2025. The initial three cities for these new openings, to be launched within the next two months, are Gurgaon, Manesar, and Corbett. Sunday Hotels is a luxury brand and was initially introduced in May 2023 with a joint venture between the Softbank Group and Oravel Stays, the parent entity of OYO. The brand initially launched with properties in Jaipur, then Vadodara and Chandigarh.

Sunday Hotels initially concentrated on non-metro cities but is now ready to move into metro cities, an indication of balanced growth. The Hotels provide the perfect setting for relaxation, rejuvenation, and city discovery. Every property has a dedicated staff of highly skilled hospitality professionals offering personalized services to each guest.

From a seamless check-in process to 24/7 staff availability, guests are ensured a comfortable and memorable stay. A hallmark of the brand is its luxurious amenities, designed for ultimate comfort and convenience.
