Microsoft Build 2025

Microsoft Build Connect 2025 will officially commence on Monday, May 19, when the Windows manufacturer is likely to reveal the most recent features and services it has been developing, among them a series of updates to its flagship AI product, Copilot.
The developer conference is being organized once every year. It will be from May 19 to May 22. It is taking place in Seattle, United States. People interested can participate online as well. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will give a two-hour keynote address on the first day of the conference, along with other executives of the company.
This year’s Microsoft Build takes place just one day prior to Google hosting its I/O conference, with technology fair Computex also taking place later in the month.
Microsoft Copilot will probably be the highlight of this year’s event too. The company has been going all out to establish Copilot as the sole AI model Windows users depend on. Microsoft might unveil several new AI features that have been in development for the last several months, including Copilot semantic search in Settings, File Explorer, and the core Windows Search.
There is much rumour as well about Windows 11. Back in the spring, Microsoft launched the contentious Recall feature that can be downloaded as part of the operating system on Copilot+ PCs. The firm could announce an enhanced version of Recall and make it available in more regions, as well as other minor features and tweaks to Windows 11.
Microsoft is also expected to reveal more features centered around Copilot Agents which was announced at an event in April this year. It is widely known that the company has been developing an in-house, foundational large language model (LLM) in a move away from OpenAI’s ChatGPT that currently powers Copilot. It would be interesting to hear more about that at this year’s Build event.
As far as what not to anticipate, there is little chance Microsoft would be discussing Windows 12 at Build 2025 since the company is still said to be trying to get Windows 10 users to upgrade to 11.
